How it happened
It started with a message.
We found each other online and spent the next week learning everything we could about one another. Through screens, through texts, through conversations that somehow felt easy from the very beginning. After a week of that, coffee seemed like the natural next step. It turned out coffee was just the beginning. We started talking every morning, long calls that stretched into the workday and probably should have ended sooner than they did. Neither of us seemed to mind. At the time we lived on opposite sides of Phoenix! Close enough to make it work, far enough that every weekend lunch took a little effort. We made that effort every single week, and had so much fun doing it and continuing to get to know each other better That's still how we are. We show up for each other, every time.
